I ordered this because I *loved* the Burt's Bees (BB) clove-flavored lip balm, but it has been discontinued. This one is OK....not as moisturizing as BB and also not NEARLY as strongly scented. But my real complaint is that it came to me *completely* melted and messy. My rural mail carrier delivered it to my door (with another package I received that day) and when he handed it to me, it felt hot. I opened it right away and the balm was hot and greasy on the outside. It was NOT a hot day--maybe in the 50's--but it must have been sitting in the sun in his car. I carefully opened it and there appeared to me NO balm left in the tube (the center screw was visible), but I replaced the lid and put it in the freezer. When it was cold, I reopened it and scraped everything I could find back into the tube and turned the dial up until it rose to the top of the container. I estimate that at least half of it was gone--maybe more. I would advise that this is NOT something that can be mailed safely. On the one hand, this probably isn't the vendor's fault, but on the other hand, the buyer should still beware. I hate to imagine what this would have looked like had it been mailed in July and set in my black mailbox for a few hours.
