I gave this to my brother as a gift at the engagement party. He said he expected it to say “just stand at the altar and say yes” and was surprised to find that it was actually a complete advice book. I skimmed through it and found the advice to be helpful and well written. There’s help setting the budget, explanations for different tux styles, advice for how to handle the moms, and more! I will say that this book is written for a straight couple, so keep in mind that it’s not well suited for gay couples. My brother is atheist, so I liked that it mentions various religious aspects when applicable, but it does not assume the reader’s beliefs. All in all, a great gift for guys who want to better understand what all goes into planning a wedding and how they can help with the process.
